A vinery with truly exceptional grapes and wine quality 70 miles away from Beverly Hills.

Over the years the owner has received multiple awards for his wines.  The vineyard also has ample water supply on the property, as well as sufficient paid-for water rights to increase the production.

Over 80% of the grapes are currently sold to the other wine-makers, leaving a significant upside earning potential.  In addition, there is over 5 acres of land available for planting more vines along with already purchased water rights. 

There is also significant upside potential since the owner is not investing any many at all in marketing and is also not using any social media for promotion.  In addition, the business is using very few sales channels and its marketing and sales could be greatly improved.

The business also runs a profitable retail store and a tasting room that is displaced from the vineyard because of the regulatory constraints.  The owner would be willing to sell the retail part of the business separately. 

Moreover, the surplus grapes are of exceptionally good quality and could be sold at significantly higher prices, if the new owner would decide not to increase the production of the wine.  The demand for the grapes is so strong that the owner only sells to repeat customers and the quantity is oversubscribed multiple times each year.

The vineyard produces the following sortes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Malbec, Barbara, Granache, Pino Noir, Petite Verdot, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Muscat, and Viognier.

The owner is retiring and has to sell the business.  However, he would like to ensure the legacy of his truly excellent wine and would be willing to provide training for a full year for up to 20 hours a week free of charge.  He is also willing to provide financing.

In addition, the owner would be able to recommend an experienced manager with years of experience would be willing to run daily operations for an absentee owner.
